the photo was taken by Andrea Cianciarelli during a Special Anticlerical Carnival Celebration in Poggio Mirteto,(about 50 Km from Rome).The Carnival is an all day long feast, with live music, street bands, street jugglers and lots of food and wine. Hundreds of people come from across the globe dressed up in costumes mocking people, politicians and events.The girl pictured on stilts in the centre of the picture is Niall’s own dear friend Nicoletta Righetto. |
