I wrote this song for Sue Hannah, who passed away last year. She was the owner of Faces, the longest standing womyn's bars in Orlando. Florida, USA. Many bars came and went but her bar, Faces, ...stayed. Many women "came out" here. My band Blues Matters had the pleasure of playing at Faces several times. We played this song at her memorial at Faces one week after she passed away. I'd like to thank my son Nick Bruno for playing drums, and Daryl Morrow for the piano.
