...some things are fuzzy, but I do remember reading the Whole Earth Catalog... Sometimes, when I watch what goes on around me, I think life plays to a global soundtrack which plays continuously. I've been to a lot of places and done a lot of things, had friends and misplaced friends, shared joyful times and tearful ones as well, and music has always played a big part in all. Everyone plays a part, everyone dances a dance, everyone has a line. These are songs I've heard over the years and each triggers a memory of different people, places and times. Some good, some bad. All a part of the "big show" to which we all contribute. The Combo Rockers are me. I play all instruments, sing all vocals, record, edit and mix all tracks in my home studio....for better or worse, its just a hobby. I play all of the instruments on the songs I post. At this point I am just learning to use MIDI, recording/mixing software (NTrack), soundfonts,etc., basically the whole production process. These selected cuts are all Combo Rocker favorites only and are reflective of the style of music this Combo Rocker prefers. Hope you like. cliff :D |

I will have a new list of songs to upload in the very near future. The ones here now will probably stay another week or so.... A couple of my new projects are turning out to be more difficult than I had anticipated.......not that you are just sitting there waiting..... But, its a labor of love cliff :) |

Closet Studios I wouldn't really call it a "studio" per se, but it is what I use to record, mix and burn the songs that are posted here. Closet Studios was a spare bedroom. Now, the room is where all of my music equipment sits along with couches, all sorts of wall posters and an entertainment center which holds hundreds of LP's which comprised my music collection (before CD's). The PC's, mixing console, amps, etc. are all located in what used to be the closet -- thus the name "Closet Studios". (Click "Read More" for a more detailed description of my 'studio')... :D
