This was recorded as an experiment with tube preamps. Instead of spending $800 or more on 2 channels of tube preamps I bought a used Roberts reel to reel tape recorder that had tube preamps and had preamp outputs. I still need to get an external phantom power supply for my better condenser mics, so this was recorded with 2 SDC mics from radio shack that run on their own battery power.

Edited in Audacity - I removed some of the hiss from the preamps and added a bit of reverb and compression.
