Hi! I'm Kristen Bruno and my occasional bands are "Blues Matters" and "A Name You Can Trust". It just depends on the music I write.

Lately I mainly write songs and perform locally without the group.

I am singer/songwriter/guitarist. I play acoustic, electric, slide and Dobro and a little pedal steel. A few years back

I wrote both Razzle Dazzle Man and "Seven" at my kitchen table simultaneously on two seperate sheets of paper one in a few hours.   “Razzle Dazzle Man”  was voted the best blues song of the year by Songwriters Showcases of America in 2006. When I originally wrote and performed "Razzle Dazzle Man", some people gave me dirty looks. Little did they realize that this totally unfounded war would cause needless death to many.  I just write what I see.    I feel that my song, along with many others, have helped to heighten the population's consciousness.   I think as the death toll rises it’s starting to hit "closer to home" for many people. Each new song I hear from the many talented songwriters across the nation show a different aspect of this insanity. I hope the world wakes up soon.
